In the performance of their respective tasks and duties GreenTree team members are expected to conform to the following: Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other team members, customers and suppliers. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other team members and organizations.

Position Summary:
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment within the guest rooms of the GreenTree Inn Sedona hotel.

Position Tasks and Responsibilities:
All room attendants are expected to organize and restock their cart at the beginning and end of their shift, ensure confidentially and security of guest rooms, follow all company safety and security procedures, and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.

Guest Rooms:

  • Strip dirty linens and towels from room, take to laundry.
  • Make up beds and replace linens as required
  • Empty and clean trash containers, install new liners.
  • Clean, dust and polish furniture, fixtures and fittings.
  • Wash tubs, tub surrounds and toilets.
  • Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
  • Clean vanity face, backsplash, sink and faucet.
  • Wipe down glass and mirror surfaces.
  • Wipe down doors & door handles.
  • Wipe-down TV remote and telephone.
  • Wash guestroom windows as scheduled.
  • Restock room supplies (drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, coffee, writing supplies).
  • Replace dirty towels with clean towel sets.
  • Clean bathroom floor
  • Inspect working conditions of room lights, televisions, phones, and appliances. Document when service is required.
  • Edge and vacuum room.
  • Clean hotel corridors, breezeways, as well as guest rooms.
  • Respond to guest queries and requests.

Laundry Room:

  • Sort, wash, load and unload laundry.
  • Operate mechanized cleaning equipment.
  • Sort & fold clean laundry.
  • Stock clean laundry in housekeeping supply closet.
  • Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
  • Monitor & report necessary domestic repairs and replacements.

Additional Duties May be Assigned by Management

Required Qualifications:

  • Comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Being knowledgeable in the use of cleaning tools such as vacuums, mops, cleaning chemicals, commercial washing machines and commercial dryers.
  • Effectively present information in a one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with guests, associates, supervisors, and other as required for operation of the property and completion of your tasks.
