Shuttle Driver

In the performance of their respective tasks and duties GreenTree team members are expected to conform to the following: Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other team members and organizations.


Position Summary:

Transport guest to/from the hotel, Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, and surrounding business & local attractions.  In between shuttle runs maintain the hotel grounds and set up meeting rooms.  Assist the front desk as needed.


Position Tasks and Responsibilities


Driver Duties:

  • Drive shuttle van to transport hotel guest following scheduled route times.
  • Verify the number of guest with the front desk at the start of each shuttle run.
  • Assist guests by lifting and carrying guest baggage on and off the shuttle van as needed
  • Provide information and respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, attractions, directions, etc. in order to maximize guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain the level of cleanliness, gasoline, and oil of the hotel van.
  • Complete daily van reports.
  • Follow all company safety and security procedures
  • Adhere to all traffic & airport rules and regulations.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards on a daily basis.


Property Support Duties:

Outside Property:

  • Walk property and pick up trash.
  • Empty all outside tray cans and ashtrays.

Hotel Lobby:

  • Mop tile floors (Lounge, Bathroom, & Kitchen).
  • Vacuum clean carpets.
  • Wipe down furniture and fittings (Lounge, Bathroom, Kitchen & Meeting Rooms).
  • Empty and clean trash containers.
  • Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
  • Clean sinks
  • Wipe down mirror & glass surfaces.
  • Fill soap, toilet, & paper towel dispensers.



Meeting Rooms

  • Set up the room before each use (Vacuum floors, Layout tables and chairs per client's design, Set out coffee and water for meeting attendees, etc.).
  • Take Down furniture, decorations, food, etc., and empty trash cans after each meeting has concluded.


Additional Duties May be Assigned by Management.



Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • Valid Driver's License with a Motor Vehicle Record that meets the policy requirements of GTI Phoenix, LLC and its insurance provider.
  • Must pass fingerprint and background check per airport requirements or already have TSA clearance card.
  • Complete and pass the State Defensive Driving Exam and the Department of Transportation physical and drug test.
  • Must be able to work various shifts including nights/weekends.
  • Comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Effectively present information in a one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with guests, associates, supervisors, and other as required for operation of the property and completion of your tasks.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of hospitality experience
  • Experience using hotel PMS systems
