In the performance of their respective tasks and duties GreenTree team members are expected to conform to the following: Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other team members, customers and suppliers. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other team members and organizations.


Position Summary:

Oversee housekeeping operations within the established guest service, quality and sustainability standards of GreenTree Inn.  


Position Tasks and Responsibilities:


Coordinate all daily housekeeping and laundry activities to facilitate clean guest rooms and maintain all public areas. 


Train, motivate, coach, and discipline department staff members. 


Prepare and distribute room assignment sheets to the room attendants. 


Inspect all guest rooms after they have been cleaned to ensure checklist items have been completed, and the rooms meet quality standards. 


Updated all inspected rooms in the PMS so the front desk has them avaible for guest. 


Submit a weekly inventory of linen and room attendant supplies, so inventory can be kept at consistent levels. 


Oversee lost and found process. 


Communicate regularly to management, maintenance and guest service staff on the happenings of the department and the conditions of the hotel. 



Additional Duties May be Assigned by Management


Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of prior housekeeping experience.
  • At least one year of supervising experience.
  • Comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Being knowledgeable in the use of cleaning tools such as vacuums, mops, cleaning chemicals, commercial washing machines and commercial dryers.
  • Effectively present information in a one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with guests, associates, supervisors, and other as required for operation of the property and completion of your tasks.
